The council has had confirmation from Transport for NSW (TfNSW) that works have been scheduled for mid August to replace the lights.
"We thank everyone for your patience and look forward to a brighter bridge soon," Mayor Zaffina said.
Mayor Zaffina and the Balranald Shire Council at large have had their work cut out for them since the return to democracy in September of 2024.
The newly elected Shire recently clocked up six months in the chair, and have made numerous positive changes and steps towards change in their short time in office.
