Mallee Family Care are holding a free BBQ and playgroup on Wednesday February, 26.

This is a great opportunity for families with young children to get together, have a chat and learn about the different services Mallee Family Care has to offer, including playgroups, self care, parenting groups, first aid, and supports and referrals.

Raising families is hard, and there can never be enough supports to fall back on, and everyone is welcome.

It is on at Greenham Park Hall from 11am to 1.30 pm.

Mallee Family Care was established in August 1979 in response to the needs of the communities of north west Victoria and south west New South Wales.

Commencing as part of Melbourne Family Care, it was separately incorporated in 1984.

Today it’s a locally accountable provider of health, welfare and family services.

Playgroups offer many proven benefits for children and their families, including helping children develop social and emotional skills, and make friends. 

They help children develop literacy and numeracy skills, and learn about the world around them.
