The NSW Government is inviting residents aged 18 and over to participate in a brief survey sharing their views on how the state can better support inclusion, safety and equality for LGBTIQA+ communities. The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete and represents a crucial opportunity for community members to influence policy development.
In addition to the survey, expressions of interest are now open for LGBTIQA+ people across New South Wales to participate in roundtable discussions, where they can share their lived experiences and contribute to the strategy in a more detailed forum.
This marks the first time New South Wales has developed a comprehensive LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Strategy, making community input particularly valuable in ensuring the strategy addresses the real needs and priorities of LGBTIQA+ communities across the state.
Those wishing to have their say can access the survey and submit expressions of interest for roundtable participation by visiting nsw.gov.au/go/LGBTIQA-Inclusion-Strategy before submissions close on 10 December.
