Aaron Dennis Salvestrin is facing 17 charges, including 16 counts of dishonestly intending to obtain a gain and one count of using a forged document for a public official to accept as genuine.
The matter was heard before Magistrate H. Donnelly, who set the next court date for December 9 at the Downing Centre in Sydney. The December hearing will be for charge certification, a procedural step where the prosecution formally specifies which charges will proceed against the accused.
Magistrate Donnelly has permitted Salvestrin to be absent from the December 9 proceedings.
The Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions is prosecuting the case.
The matter remains before the courts, and no further details are available at this time.
