Hay Emergency Services are currently attending an incident on the Murrumbidgee River Road.

A motor vehicle accident occurred at approximately 5.50 am this morning, on a nearby property.

Update 10.40 am: The driver of the vehicle has passed, and the passenger, a man in his 20s also sustained minor head injuries in the crash.

The passenger was taken by road ambulance to Griffith Base Hospital for further treatment.

NSW Police are also on the scene investigating the circumstances, with a report to be prepared by the coroner.
