Recent contributions from Sacred Heart Primary School, Woolworths, Mildura Base Public Hospital Allied and Community Health and The Grain Shed Church of Christ in Swan Hill, along with Ray White Mildura's A Little Ray of Giving and Antisocial Collective's Toy Drive, are being distributed to MASP clients and families.
MASP Chief Executive Officer Charmaine Calis said Christmas could be a difficult time for some, making donations of goods and toys particularly welcome. "We are so fortunate to have such a generous community here in the Mallee, helping us make a difference for families under our programs," she said.
"We cannot thank the businesses, organisations and community groups who take the time to run these drives and gather donations to be passed on enough, not just at Christmas time but all year round."
Donations of new household goods and toys, or non-perishable food items, can be made at MASP's offices in Mildura, Dareton and Swan Hill. Those wishing to make a monetary donation to one of MASP's four donation funds, including Homelessness Support, Youth Support, Family Safety and Housing Development, can visit https://masp.org.au/get-involved/donate-and-fundraise-for-masp/ for more information.
