A Victorian man wanted on sexual assault offences was arrested on a warrant in Hay on Friday and remains in custody.

The man is charged with sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 10.

It is alleged the offence occurred in Victoria.

Bail was refused when the accused appeared via audio visual link before Griffith Local Court on Saturday.

The matter has been listed for further mention (committal) on December 5 at Griffith.
