A collision between two trucks has closed the Sturt Highway, south of Hay.

Around 9.49pm yesterday (Wednesday) two trucks collided, and the scene is currently being investigated by police.

The incident occurred near the Pevensey Road.

The highway is expected to remain closed for some time as investigations continue.

Traffic is being diverted along Maude Road, through Maude, to Hay.
