Results declares in Central Darling Shire election

So the verdict is in, and the new representatives for the wards of Central Darling Shire have been announced.

Results are now available for the Central Darling Shire Council election: https://ow.ly/LzZy50XaQHH

In A Ward, Peter Sullivan was declared elected by the Returning Officer on Tuesday, October 14.

Meanwhile in B Ward, Max Bradley was declared elected by the Returning Officer also on October 14.

Ward C is uncontested, as the number of candidates nominated for election is not greater than the number of councillors required to be elected.

The Returning Officer for the election, Brian Steffen, has declared Daniel FUSI to be the elected councillor for Ward C.

Central Darling Shire will become a ‘Rural and Remote Council’ made up of three locally elected councillors from the community and three councillors appointed by the NSW Government with relevant expertise to support the stable and effective operation of the Council.

The remote communities of Central Darling Shire headed to the polls on September 20, to elect council representatives for the first time in more than a decade.
