Minor disruptions to street parking in Broken Hill

There will be minor disruption to traffic and street parking, for tree maintenance.

This will take place on Williams St (between Galena St & Sulphide St).

The maintenance will begin on Tuesday June 17, concluding on Friday, 4 July 2025.

As part of Council’s scheduled tree maintenance works along Williams Street, special traffic management measures will be implemented around the active work zones to ensure the safety of both vehicular traffic and pedestrians.

Residents are asked not to park their vehicles on the roadway adjacent to their properties if works are being carried out in the vicinity.

Motorists are asked to be patient and obey all signage and directions given by traffic controllers or portable traffic signal systems.

Managed vehicle and pedestrian access will be maintained to properties and along footpaths. However, minor delays may be experienced.

For further information please contact: Tobias Hack, Council's Works Team Leader via phone (08) 8080 3109.
