Carrathool RFS needs you!

Do you live in the Carrathool area or surrounds and are looking to give back to your community? The Rural Fire Service (RFS) is calling out for volunteers.

More than volunteer firefighters, the NSW RFS has a variety of volunteer roles.

The NSW RFS is widely acknowledged as the largest volunteer fire service in the world.

RFS volunteers respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year round.

There are many ways you can help out, with a variety of volunteer roles available including firefighting, operational support, community support and brigade administration.

Before applying, consider the type of activities you're able to undertake and the time you could dedicate, so you can find the best role for you.

You can find out more about the application process and how to find your nearest brigade, or if you already know the brigade you'd like to join, you can go straight to the application form.
