Apply for FRRR (Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal) ABC Heywire Youth Innovation Grant

Are you thinking about applying for a FRRR ABC Heywire Youth Innovation Grant but want to know a bit more about the six ideas generated by young Australians at this year’s ABC Heywire Regional Youth Summit?

The six ideas generated are:

  • Youth Ignite - rekindle community spirit and trust with intergenerational community events.
  • How 2 Adult - empower young people with practical life skills outside the classroom.
  • Full Plate Pantry - break down the stigma surrounding food insecurity and feeding regional communities.
  • HARK (Helping Australians in Rural Kommunities) - make career opportunities more accessible for young people living in the country.
  • Wellness Wagon - connect regional young people with the health support they need.
  • CommUnity - finding unity in diversity, connecting through lived experience led education.

Grants up to $10,000 are now open for communities across Australia to adopt, adapt and act upon these ideas.

Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, or FRRR (F-triple-R) for short, is a not-for-profit organisation. We connect common purposes and funding from government, business, and philanthropy with the genuine needs of rural people and places.
