The scholarship is in tribute to the late Rob Seekamp of Woolcunda Station and Past President of Isolated Children and Parents Association (ICPA) and Pastoralists' Association of West Darling (PAWD).
Rob had a strong interest in promoting educational opportunities for people living in outback NSW. Students from the Western Division of NSW and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
The successful applicant will receive $2,500.
The objective of the Scholarship is to encourage a student to pursue a course of study in a field which will benefit the area.
The applicant’s tertiary course of study must be relevant to employment within the Western Division and is open to full-time and part-time students.
Guidelines and application forms are available by messaging PAWD on Facebook, or emailing [email protected].
Applications close January 31, 2025. An independent panel will select the successful applicant.
