Peter Connellan was recognised last month for an incredible milestone: 25 years of service as Secretary of the Balranald Rural Fire Service.

Mr Connellan's dedication to the service extends far beyond his administrative role. He has been a valued member of the brigade for over 64 years, serving his community with commitment, courage and heart.

The recognition ceremony celebrated not only his quarter-century as Secretary, but also his lifetime of service to fire safety and community protection in the Balranald area.

Mr Connellan's outstanding achievement serves as an inspiring example of lifelong service and dedication to rural fire services in New South Wales.
