The Limondale Solar Farm in New South Wales, Australia has had multiple grants and funding sources, including a Community Benefit Fund and a Long-Term Energy Service Agreement.

RWE, the owner of the Limondale Solar Farm, established a Community Benefit Fund that contributes $40,000 annually to community events and organisations.

The fund became operational in 2022.

AEMO Services awarded a Long-Term Energy Service Agreement to the Limondale BESS project.

The BESS project is a battery energy storage system that will be built next to the solar farm.

Innogy was a financial partner in the project before acquiring ownership in 2018.

Downer Group was the Australian engineering company that constructed the solar farm.

BELECTRIC is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.

The Limondale Solar Farm helps New South Wales meet its renewable energy targets.

The project creates employment opportunities.

The project contributes to a more diverse energy mix and increases energy security.
