Farrer electorate update - 71 0f 87 polling places returned and some postal votes currently counted
Sussan Ley (Liberal) 22,514 votes
Michelle Milthorpe (Independent) 11,935 votes
Glen Hyde (Labor) 8,182 votes
Parkes electorate update - 70 of 110 polling places retuned and some postal votes currently counted
Jamie Chaffey (The Nationals) 18,924 votes
Nathan Fell (Labor) 7,321 votes
Mark Carter (One Nation) 6,121 votes
Major media outlets, including the ABC and The Guardian have reported that Labor has won the election and Anthony Albanese will be returned as Prime Minister.
Meanwhile Coalition leader Peter Dutton is trailing in his seat of Dickson.
Farrer electorate update - 13.8% counted
Despite an 11.2% swing against her, incumbent Sussan Ley (Liberals) is leading the vote count, with more than 40% of the votes.
She is trailed by independent newcomer Michelle Milthorpe, who has captured 19.9% of votes ahead of Labor’s Glen Hyde on 14%.
Parkes electorate update - 5.7% counted
The Nationals Jamie Chaffey is leading the vote count, with more than 40% of votes counted in his favour, ahead of One Nation’s Mark Carter (16.2%) and Labor’s Nathan Fell (14.8%)
