Drop in sessions for CDS candidates

An information session for those considering running as a Central Darling candidate will be held this week.


The session will be held at the Council Office between 11am and 4pm in Menindee tomorrow (December 3) at the Civic Hall, Ivanhoe on Wednesday December 4 at the Council office and in Wilcannia on Thursday December 5 at the Council office.


The Managing Director at the ATSI ICT Aboriginal Corporation Russel Styche will be available to answer questions residents of Central Darling Shire who are interested in becoming a councillor at next year’s council election.

Russell is a Tubba-Gah man from the Wiradjuri Nation and has lived his life mainly within the Ngunnawal area.

Russell has been a director and member of Aboriginal organisations for 30 years. He has developed and delivered governance training packages to regional and remote organisations nationwide for the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations.
