About 9am today (Friday 14 November 2025), emergency services were called to Ivanhoe Menindee Road, Ivanhoe, following reports of a plane crash. 

Officers attached to Barrier Police District were told an ultralight aircraft had crashed on a property. 

The pilot - a 65-year-old man – was taken to Ivanhoe Hospital in a stable condition. 

The incident has been referred to Recreational Aviation Australia.
