Flushing Water Mains -

Monday May 12, Council will be conducting maintenance works on raw and filtered water mains.

There may be temporary discoloration (rusty colour) in the filtered water and muddiness in the raw water during this process.

This should run clear after water has been run for a few minutes.

Also, Reminder to restrict use of outdoor (raw) water from Monday, May 12 as we fill up the raw water tower with filtered water to conduct the necessary works on the towers.

Please limit your lawn and garden watering.

Balranald Shire Council is upgrading digital water meters and chlorination systems. 

They are also undertaking road works on McCabe Street, Balranald. 

The council supplies filtered water to properties within a defined area and prohibits its use for external domestic purposes, including swimming pools. 

Service connections are limited to one 20mm nominal diameter per assessment, with larger connections possible with development application approval.
