The Tilpa and Louth community information sessions for the Fish Passage: Reconnecting the Northern Basin Project have been postponed.

Central Darling Shire has had to postpone the following community information sessions due to adverse weather conditions and local road closures:

  • Tilpa on Tuesday 29 July at Tilpa Community Hall
  • Louth on Wednesday 30 July at Louth Tennis Club.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank the community for their understanding,” said the organisers.

“We will reschedule the information sessions in the coming weeks and will provide further updates as soon as possible.

“In the meantime, we invite community members to join an online webinar about the project on Wednesday, 6 August, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

To register visit the webinar registration webpage.

The community information sessions scheduled this week at Walgett and Collarenebri are going ahead as planned on Thursday July 31.

The proposed fishway designs for each site are available on the project webpage.

If you have any questions or require more information, please visit the project webpage or get in touch with the Water Group by calling 1300 081 047 or emailing [email protected].
