Member for Barwon Roy Butler MP has offered his thanks to NSW Police's regional manager of the Western Region.
"Before I was elected to parliament, I worked as a regional manager of the Western Region of the NSW Police Force for ten years, from 2009 to 2019," Mr Butler said.
"I have always said it was a great job, and in that time, I made many lifelong friendships.
"Recently, in Dubbo, I got to say thanks to Assistant Commissioner Rod Smith for his time as the Region Commander West Region, and welcome Assistant Commissioner, Andrew Holland, who is now substantively in the role.
:Police are often the only Government agency in a community and only one of a few that is 24/7. I’ve had a great relationship with previous Region Commanders, and I look forward to continuing that relationship with the new Commander."
