The district had a wonderful rainfall on Wednesday September 25, with people enjoying solid rainfall over the day. Sometimes it’s tempting for people in the area to get out and do a rain dance, or send prayers to whoever they pray to, so to see the liquid gold is a refreshing experience.

In Ivanhoe, they received 22ml of the liquid gold, 6mm in White Cliffs and Balranald, and close to 18mm in Hay, with some properties in the Hay area reporting as much as 33mm. At Buronga, 8mm was reported. 1.2 mm at Menindee, and White Cliffs also enjoyed a sprinkling of a few mm.
