Progress has been made on the beautification of Lake Woorabinda, according to Carrathool Shire Council.

At the November meeting of Council, the Community Development Officer Nathan Willis informed councillors that an artist has been engaged to prepare a design for the art wall and amenities building at Lake Woorabinda.

“The attachment (above) shows the locations for the art and the initial design for the art walls,” Mr Willis’ report read.

“The flora shown in the design is local to the area with the background showing blue for the lake and pink for the sunset.

“If this design is approved by Council a further design for the amenities wall will be created.”
