Central Darling Shire is calling for ideas for a water tower art installation.

Central Darling Shire Council has announced it is investigating the feasibility of painting the water tower in Ivanhoe.

As part of the process, Council is seeking community feedback from residents about the design and the paint colour scheme.

Social media commentators have suggested the Silver City Comet train, or images of family patriarchs as art subjects.

Others have suggested southern cross constellations or a portrait of the late Bill Bard, who kept supply chains to Ivanhoe open for decades.
