Carrathool Shire Councillors voted re-establish the current Alcohol-Free Zones in Hillston.

The zone will remain unchanged and run from High Street between Keats and Haines Streets, McGee Street between Bank and Molesworth Streets, Haines Street between High and Molesworth Streets Aiden Street between High and Florence Streets, Florence Street, Loughnan Street and Hughie Cameron Park.

Recommendations from Police to increase the numbers of signs indicating the alcohol-free zone were accepted.

The zone will remain in place from 1 July 2025 for a four-year period, ending on 30 June 2029.
