Grants available for Far West community arts projects

Not-for-profit organisations across the Far West have until Monday to apply for grants of up to $5,000 to bring creativity and culture to their communities.

The Country Arts Support Program Organisations Round is now open, offering funding for community arts projects that employ artists to deliver meaningful creative experiences.

The program is available to a wide range of incorporated community organisations, including local collectives and arts groups, school and P&C associations, village committees and progress associations, health and wellbeing groups, and sporting clubs.

CASP funding can be used to employ artists for various projects, such as community murals celebrating local stories, creative workshop series covering painting, theatre, photography or music, film or digital storytelling projects, and youth arts programs.

Examples of eligible projects include a village committee hiring a local artist to work with residents on a new mural, or a school group collaborating with an artist on creative workshops.

Applications close at 5.00pm on Monday, 1 December 2025.

The individual artist round will open in February 2026.

Community organisations interested in applying can find more information and submit applications at westdarlingarts.com.au/2025/10/2026-CASP-ORGANISATION-GRANTS-OPEN.
