Euston footpath project seeks community input

Balranald Shire Council is inviting residents and local businesses to have their say on a proposed footpath connecting Euston Public School to the Recreational Reserve.

The Council is seeking funding to construct the footpath as part of a broader project to encourage active transport and provide safer pedestrian connections in the community.

The proposed project includes upgrading the current narrow footpath from Euston Public School to Selwyn Street, constructing a new footpath from Selwyn Street to the Recreational Reserve, and installing crossings across Selwyn Street and Cowper Street.

Council is calling on residents and local businesses to provide feedback to strengthen the grant application and demonstrate community support for the initiative.

The consultation closes on Monday, 8 December 2025. Community members can show their support by scanning the QR code to complete the online consultation form, or by visiting the form directly at https://forms.office.com/r/6vwcX4ff8u.
