Carrathool Shire Council is undertaking road maintenance in coming weeks.

Carrathool Shire is undertaking a two kilometre section of road construction on Lachlan River Road (floodway construction). Works commenced early in September 2024 and Council expects will reach completion late November 2024 (weather permitting).

Council is also close to finishing temporary works on Tysons Road, Tabbita where two culverts have been installed on the roadway.

In recent weeks Council has also sealed two kilometres of Mossgiel Road and undertaken roadside weed spraying along Lachlan River Road, Lachlan Valley Way (East), Lachlan Valley Way (West), Merungle Road, Mitchells Road, Mossgiel Road, Roto Road, Smiths Road and The Springs Road.

During these periods drivers are asked to exercise caution, be considerate of works and follow on site traffic control.
