The Mundi Mundi Bash, which has been running annually at Belmont Station near Silverton since 2022, won gold in the Major Festival and Event category. Festival founder Greg Donovan thanked the hardworking staff and volunteers, as well as every Basher who has been with them since the beginning.
Meanwhile, Adam Edwards, who has received several accolades for his photography and workshops across the state and internationally, picked up bronze in the Cultural Tourism category.
The awards recognise excellence in tourism experiences across New South Wales, with both recipients showcasing the diverse cultural and event offerings available in the Broken Hill region.
The recognition highlights the growing reputation of far western NSW as a destination for major events and unique tourism experiences.
