A chemical spill earlier today has closed both Taylor and Leslie Roads, at Euston.

The closure affects all traffic.

NSW Police and NSW Fire & Rescue are on the scene and have evacuated six residential properties until further notice.

A 500 metre exclusion zone from the site of the spill on Leslie Road has been established as a Hazmat control area.

Emergency services say the spill site is under control and Balranald Shire Council will continue to provide updates.
